Employment for Graphic Designer
Position: Graphic Designer, Freelance
Designsensory, a leading brand, interactive and design consultancy, is seeking a freelance graphic designer to add to our family of overflow designers. The freelance designer will maintain an independent contractor role with Designsensory.
This opportunity requires a graphic designer versed in both print and web media, with one to three years professional and academic design experience. The ideal applicant must possess outstanding design talent and be dependable and flexible; the designer will work directly with the principals of our firm and in collaboration with the design and technical teams as well as independently. A track record of designing corporate communications, such as brand identity elements, advertising, print collateral and environmental graphics is essential, as well as experience designing compelling, usable, information-oriented web sites.
Required skills for this opportunity are a strong to expert knowledge of Adobe CS Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). Strong typographic and illustration skills applied to both a print and web setting are also a requirement. Knowledge of web usability conventions, web standards and Flash is a plus. Knowledge of the print production process is a plus.
A portfolio showing print and web/interactive work is required of any applicant. A face-to-face portfolio review meeting may be requested after receipt of your resume. Your portfolio must contain printed samples and active working websites.
