DoubleJay Creative Alliance & Transition of Web, Interactive - Frequently A

Frequently Asked Questions

By now, you know that Designsensory and DoubleJay Creative have formed an alliance and that DoubleJay is turning over its web, interactive client accounts and operations to Designsensory. Change, even positive change, can create anxiety and uncertainty, especially when it comes to your business. We hope the following Q & A will answer some of your questions and put your mind at ease about these changes.

Are Designsensory and DoubleJay Creative now one company?

No. Designsensory and DoubleJay Creative remain separate entities with operations focused on distinct specialities. Designsensory and DoubleJay Creative share the same commitment to quality and customer service, and this alliance will allow both companies to better serve you as we each play to our core strengths—visual design & web development and video production & motion graphics, respectively. A strategic alliance has been formed to better service the needs of our customers by offering a more integrated rich-media marketing solution.

Will I be dealing with someone new? Will I have an account rep?

You will be able to contact Designsensory’s Client Services Manager, Sara Lewis, for updates or questions about the status of your project. If you call during normal business hours you will be greeted by a human and not a machine. In that case, simply ask for Sara!

You will be able to access your project information through the Basecamp project management system, a portal Designsensory uses for all customer programs. Through this portal you can continue to stay up to date just as you did before.

Will my fees change?

No. Designsensory will honor the current open contracts that DoubleJay Creative has with all its clients. If you have any questions related to the status of your account or if you want to discuss any changes in the process for going forward feel free to call Sara at Designsensory!

How do Designsensory’s capabilities compare to the services that I got from DoubleJay Creative?

The services available through Designsensory will be an expanded version of what you received from DoubleJay. Designsensory maintains separate design and technology teams highly specialized in their respective craft. The design group focuses on content, messaging, branding, user interface & experience and usability testing. The technology group focuses on standards-based front-end development coupled with powerful, custom and robust back-end and database-driven solutions. Together these teams provide Designsensory customers with meaningful and award-winning web, interactive, and e-commerce experiences. Additionally, Designsensory's creative teams can scale to offer brand strategy, custom publishing, corporate identity programs, and print collateral design services coupled with your web and interactive needs.

How do the accounts payable or accounts receivable procedures change?

Over the next several weeks, Designsensory will be mailing an update letter enclosed with a W9 to all DoubleJay Creative customers with open web projects as well as customers with ongoing hosting and maintenance agreements. We ask that you forward this information to your accounting or accounts payables department to update your records.
