Alison Ashe
Senior Designer | aashe@designsensory.com
Alison joined Designsensory in April of 2006 as a graphic designer for print and web. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee, where she focused on solving visual communication problems through a process incorporating research, conceptual exploration, innovative use of visual elements, and a high level of craftsmanship. Today she uses this process to help each client visually define itself and communicate with its audience in a meaningful, memorable, and consistent way across a wide range of mediums.
Alison grew up in Greeneville, Tennessee, where she displayed both artistic and academic talents at an early age and was encouraged to pursue them. As part of her design studies, she developed a foundation of skills in drawing, photography, and other studio art disciplines and enjoys creating visual elements by hand for use in design roles.
Her student work earned recognition from UCDA and several University of Tennessee student competitions, and subsequent work has been featured in the AIGA Ten Show. She is an active member of AIGA and serves on the board of AIGA Knoxville as secretary.
