Joseph Nother Creative Director Principal
jnother@designsensory.com
865 690 2249 x123

Before founding Designsensory, Joseph attended The University of
Tennessee, concentrating his academic efforts in psychology and
business administration. During Joseph's years of study, he examined
the relationships among psychology, marketing, design, and consumer
behavior. Drawing conclusions from a synthesis of his own research, and
basing the application of these conclusions around a model created by
Bernd Schmitt and Alex Simonson, Joseph developed the foundation,
processes, and procedures that guide Designsensory's brand strategies
and creative development.
In his role as creative director of Designsensory, Joseph oversees
teams that generate all the strategic marketing and creative endeavors,
delivering award-winning, highly original branding ideas and visual
design to hundreds of clients ranging from local and regional
businesses to multi-national organizations including the NFLA, Samsung
Electronics, HGTV, and MTS Corporation. Joseph also invests time into
uncovering new methods of identity and experiential management and
continues his investigation into the social and cognitive mechanisms
underlying such practices.
Originally born in Knoxville, TN, he moved to Silicon Valley with his
family where he spent most of his early childhood and teenage life.
Upon his return to Knoxville, he continued to develop his talents and
interests in entrepreneurship, marketing, and design and started his
first business when he was 15 years old. Recently, along with Brandon
Rochelle, he was one of the youngest persons to ever to speak at the
International STC (Society for Technical Communication) Conference in
Baltimore, MD.
