    The new symbol, named swoop, embodies the notion of movement. In this case, the repetitive arrows signify unity and confident motion. Arrows are symbolic in that they evoke strong mental images but are also indexical in that they literally point to something beyond themselves.

  A tweaked version of yellow was used to provide a base for instant association and accessibility. In this case, CRG delivers yellow pages and therefore the selection of yellow was a natural choice. Silver, black, orange, and a medium blue-grey were also selected to fill out the palette.
 
standout characteristics
    New visual concepts were created to extend the notions depicted in the logo. One such concept is the use of numerous repeating arrows as seen on the back of the letterhead and front of the print materials. Another concept was the use of a package label design for the company contact information.

  CRG resides in an niche industry (telephone book distribution) where true brand and marketing strategies are rarely formed or exercised. To remain at the forefront of their competition, CRG decided to invest in an identity management program and turned to Designsensory to revitalize their older corporate identity, Internet site, and marketing materials. True to the many ways identity management benefits organizations, CRG’s first targeted direct mail campaign featuring the new identity and using the new sales materials resulted in response rates that exceed fifty percent.
