Premier Athletics Website Redevelopment
Premier Athletics, a wide-reaching company with retail outlets, gyms, camps and competitions through the U.S., needed one web portal that could link all its various enterprises with students, parents, instructors and coaches, and standardize the individual sites of Premier's many gyms. In addition, Premiere wanted to create an online community where students and alumni could interact.
We used bright colors and patterns evocative of motion, along with intense, active photography to underscore the youth-oriented nature of the site. At the same time, we pared down initial navigational options to eliminate clutter and make site use easier. The basic choices of Learn, Compete, Connect, and Shop cover the business bases, while a Quick Task box creates a shortcut for busy parents in search of a nearby gym. The large photo rotational allows Premier to emphasize specific concepts, such as “Friends for Life,” as well as showcase famous alumni.
This massive but carefully organized site also allows each individual gym to maintain its own linked site with class schedules, special offers, and password-protected access for current customers.
