Tennessee State Parks 75th Anniversary Microsite

Before Tennessee State Parks celebrated the park system’s 75th anniversary, it turned to Designsensory to help promote the celebration with a microsite. The journey begins on the Tennessee State Parks 75th anniversary microsite with a captivating video of the sights and sounds that bring together the park system, people and places. Throughout the microsite, full-screen imagery of scenic park vistas, wildlife and historical venues creates an immersive sense of place, transporting visitors to park sites. Dynamic elements bring 75 years of history and celebration together in the microsite, including a timeline highlighting notable dates and events, an interactive Junior Ranger trivia game, flora and fauna educational materials, sustainability insights and a contest allowing visitors to share memories for a chance to win prizes.

Encouraging visitors to continue making memories, the microsite offers visitors a calendar of events and the opportunity to book lodging, dining and other amenities at various parks throughout the system.

Facebook, YouTube and Twitter social platforms extend the microsite’s themes and create multiple connections online for people to participate in celebrating 75 years of making memories with Tennessee State Parks.
